Yakult Ice Cream Shop

If you’re a Yakult addict who once googled “Can I drink more than 1 yakult per day?”, then the upcoming Yakult Ice Cream Shop in Tokyo is practically made for you. But don’t worry if you’re just a casual fan of the probiotic drink – there are plenty of treats for you too.

The pop-up store will be serving Yakult-based desserts, ranging from ice creams to shakes, so that you can satisfy your Yakult cravings while keeping your gut healthy.

Collaboration with Imada Kitchen

Since its release in 1935, Yakult has captured the hearts of many around the world with its sweet taste and health benefits. The probiotic drink includes a specially-developed strain of bacteria called “Lactobacillus paracasei Shirota”. According to Yakult, it is able to “reach the intestine live” and aids in boosting one’s immunity and digestion.

Usually sold in 65-100ml small bottles, Yakult will be taking on a different form at the Yakult Ice Cream Shop.
