Escrit, a popular wedding and reception planning company in Japan, has revamped its Hello Kitty & Dear Daniel wedding ceremony package to provide even more Hello Kitty details for your big day.
They have been organising Hello Kitty & Dear Daniel Bridal Fairs in various parts of Japan, including Tokyo, Tohoku, and Kyushu. The fairs will run till 3rd November 2020. Couples who attend the bridal fairs can get complimentary limited edition Hello Kitty & Dear Daniel couple plush toys and Hello Kitty’s iconic red hair bows.

The new basic package, available only at the fair, includes a personalised congratulatory video message from Hello Kitty, free rental of Hello Kitty’s red sash belt, and free rental of a wedding dress worth ¥180,000 (~USD1702.50).

If the basic package is not enough to satisfy the Hello Kitty fan in you, you can add more flair with Hello Kitty-themed wedding decor such as place cards, floral table decorations, and bouquets.

You can make an appointment to attend a bridal fair on your preferred date and location via Escrit’s website. There will be mock-ups of a wedding set-up and you can receive a free consultation with their dedicated wedding planners.
Besides Escrit, another wedding planning company, Petit Wedding, also organises Hello Kitty themed weddings. However, these weddings have to take place at Sanrio Puroland in Tokyo. Wedding ceremonies are held in the Fairy Land Theatre within the theme park.

For just ¥280,000 (~USD2648.34), you get an all-inclusive package including a wedding gown, hair and make-up for the bride, sound and lighting, and an official marriage certificate. There are also optional add-on items such as a wedding bouquet, photography services, and hair and make-up for the groom. These add-ons cost between ¥3,000 to ¥70,000 (~USD28.38-USD662.08).

While the package that Petit Wedding offers is a steal, you do have to pay an additional ¥3,000 (~USD28.38) per guest for entrance into the theme park. If your ceremony is followed by a lunch or dinner reception, you and your guests would have to adjourn to another location, which might be a hassle.

Back in July, Escrit held a series of Rilakkuma Bridal Fairs. The Rilakkuma bridal fair package includes a Rilakkuma & Korilakkuma ring pillow, Rilakkuma cake toppers and decorations, and Rilakkuma-themed dishes. Life-size Rilakkuma & Korilakkuma mascots will also be there to celebrate your big day with you and your guests.

If you’re not into Sanrio or San-X characters, you can hold a Pokemon wedding with a pair of Pikachu groomsman and bridesmaid instead. In addition to Pokemon-themed food, guests can take home Pokemon-themed wedding favours too.
