Multiverse anime films

Two multiverse anime films are set to be released on 7th Oct 2022 simultaneously. Viewers will have the choice to decide the order in which they wish to watch the two films, and their choice will change the ending of the story.

The two multiverse anime films were adapted from two novels, Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e and Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e, written by Yomoji Otono. Interestingly, the two novels were published on the very same day in 2016.

Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e (僕が愛したすべての君へ; To Every You I’ve Loved Before) will be animated by Bakken Record, and will tell the story of a romance between the two protagonists.

Koyomi Takasaki is a university student who lives with his mother after his parents’ divorce. Koyomi is unable to make friends due to a lack of social skills and his devotion to his studies.

One day, Kazune Takigawa – Koyomi’s classmate – approaches him and reveals that she is from an alternate universe where Koyomi and herself are lovers.

The story follows Koyomi Hidaka, who lives with his father after his parents’ divorce. One day, Koyomi meets a girl named Shiori Satou at the research institute where his father works, and the two start to develop feelings for each other.

Unfortunately, Koyomi and Shiori’s parents remarry, so the two attempt to escape to a parallel universe where they can be together.

Multiverse anime films look promising

It’s not every day that us viewers get to play a part in shaping the storyline of a film. And as fans of stories involving the multiverse already know, every choice has the potential to completely change your fate.

We’re intrigued by the way the two anime films will delve into the multiverse with a meta element, and the concept of two related films with different storylines is rather new and thus promising.
