Aniplex Online Fest 2021 Artist Line-Up Includes LiSA & Aimer, Fans Can Stream It For Free

If you miss swinging your lightstick and singing to popular anime songs at a concert, you’re not alone. With the pandemic still ongoing, it’s practically impossible to hold these anisong concerts physically. Luckily, the Aniplex Online Fest 2021 will be happening in a month’s time, providing a divine opportunity for all concert-deprived anime fans to relive the hype of such events.

Aniplex Online Fest 2021 will be streamed live on YouTube on 4th July at 10AM JST. If you’re following Pacific Daylight Time, the event will start on 3rd July at 6PM. You can join the online concert for free.

Just hours ago, the event organisers of the Aniplex Online Fest 2021 unveiled the artist line-up for the online concert. It includes 5 popular music artists – LiSA, SawanoHiroyuki[nZk], ReoNa, ClariS, and Aimer. These celebrities have all sung or composed prominent anime songs over the years.

Over the past 10 years, LiSA has become a familiar name in the anime community. Her top hits include Gurenge and crossing field, which serve as the opening themes to the 1st seasons of Demon Slayer and Sword Art Online respectively.

Hiroyuki Sawano releases music under the vocal project SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]. He mainly composes the songs and invites different singers to lend their voices to the final products. The chilling ending themes for Aldnoah.Zero A/Z and aLIEzare some of his works. He also composed the opening and ending songs for Owari no Seraph.

ReoNa is a relatively new artist on this list, having made her debut in 2018. She has sung the ending themes for Sword Art Online: Alicization, as well as ANIMA, the opening theme song for Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld.

With adorable-sounding voices, J-pop duo ClariS has many catchy anisongs under their belt. Their most prominent recent work is Hitorigoto, which serves as the opening song for Eromanga Sensei. They also sang the opening theme for Madoka MagicaConnect.

Aimer has contributed her powerful voice to many songs under the Fate series. These include Brave Shine, the 2nd opening for Fate/stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, and Hana no Uta for Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel. She also recently sang the ending theme song, titled kiro, for the Japanese adaptation of The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, a popular Chinese donghua.


New updates on popular shows like Demon Slayer

On 28th May, Aniplex revealed that there will be anime updates announced during the event. These updates concern the upcoming movie for Sword Art Online, the 10th anniversary project for Madoka Magica, an anime project for Fate/Grand Order, and the popular anime Demon Slayer.
